It's the things we don't notice when we're looking for a new residence. We're enjoying the visual drama of the beautiful model home and checking out the base price to see if we think it will meet our budget objectives.

But, do we ever ask about how our air conditioning system is impacted by heat loss through our windows? After one of the hottest summers in a hundred years, it's very important. None of us likes to think that we are paying more in energy costs because of all the heat traveling through the windows in our home, effectively diluting the work of our air conditioning system.
